2008-2009 Admissions Policies
Normal Admission Requirements (for incoming students)
in addition to other Registration and Tuition Policies
- Student must have a C+ or better (or equivalent) grade average in academic subjects during the past two years, with no failing grades (or equivalent), and an acceptable conduct/behavioral evaluation.
- All new students entering grades 1 through 8 must take a math and reading test. Kindergarten students must take a readiness test as part of Kindergarten roundup. Students must score no more than one grade level lower than current grade. For example, a student in the 7th grade, 5th month of school should be able to perform at a minimum of 6th grade, 5th month level.
- In compliance with state law, students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years of age by December 1st.
- Student and parent(s) must have a personal interview with the Principal.
- All parents must submit copies of the following:
• Prior two year’s final report cards
• Most recent standardized test scores (i.e. MEAP, IOWA, California Achievement).
• Written financial confirmation from previous private school (if applicable).
- Principal and specific grade level teacher will review all of the above.
- Student(s) and parent(s) agree to abide by the school policies.
- All new students will be on probation for one semester.
- The school administration reserves the right to judgment in admissions decisions.
